Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Shotvi ("we", "the Service") handles your information. It is written for this specific product: an AI video tool where you upload photos, audio or video, write prompts or scripts, and receive generated videos.

What we collect

1. Account information — your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google or GitHub, the basic profile those services share.
2. Content you provide — photos, audio and video files you upload, and the prompts, scripts or text you type into a generator.
3. Generated results — the videos and voice-over audio we create for you, and the projects and scenes you save.
4. Usage and billing records — which tools you ran, job status and timing, credits held, spent and returned.
5. Technical data — IP address, browser and device information, and security logs needed to run and protect the Service.
6. Payments — paid plans are not available yet. When they are, payment details are handled by the payment provider; we do not store card numbers.

How we use it

• To run the generation you requested, show you the price first, and store the result for you.
• To keep your account, credits and projects working.
• To prevent abuse, fraud and misuse of the generators.
• To answer support requests.

We do not sell your data and we do not use your uploads, prompts or results to train AI models. Your uploads and results are private: they are only available to your account through short-lived links, unless you ask us to feature something publicly.

Who processes your data

To make videos we send the necessary inputs (for example your photo, your text or voice-over) to our AI inference provider, fal.ai, which runs the selected model. Depending on the tool, the model is provided by Kuaishou (Kling), ByteDance (Seedance) or the open Kokoro text-to-speech model run by fal. These providers process your inputs to produce the result and may refuse requests under their own content rules.

We also use Cloudflare (hosting and file storage), Neon (database) and, if enabled, an email provider for account emails and an analytics tool. Some of these providers process data outside your country; we rely on their contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded files (photos, audio, video): 30 days after upload, then deleted automatically.
• Generated results not saved in a project: 90 days after creation, then deleted automatically.
• Results saved in a project: until you delete the project (then the 90-day rule applies).
• Account data and credit history: while your account exists; billing records as long as the law requires.

You can delete everything at any time with Studio → Uploads → Delete all my files and projects. This removes your files immediately and clears the text of your prompts and scripts from our records. To delete your account itself, email us at the privacy contact above or open a support ticket; we complete it within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You can access, download and delete your files in Studio, and ask us to correct or delete your personal data or to export a copy of it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including complaining to a data protection authority.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and you must not upload images of minors.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the product.
